Engagement Overview

LoanBud is launching a new CRM and is seeking an independent contractor to build the system from the ground up — a hands-on builder who spends their time creating workflows, automations, data structures, campaigns, routing and reporting inside a CRM. This is a build engagement, not maintenance of a finished system. The contractor will coordinate with our marketing, product and operations functions to turn business requirements into working CRM systems.

Scope of Services The contractor will provide services which may include:

- Automation & workflows — build CRM workflows and automations from scratch; configure email, SMS, calling and voicemail workflows; and create follow-up tasks, queues and response workflows.
- Routing & lifecycle — create lead, contact and deal assignment rules, round-robin and other routing logic, lifecycle stages and pipeline automation.
- Data structure — create and maintain CRM fields, lists and segments; manage data quality, structure and governance.
- Campaigns & attribution — build marketing campaigns and nurture sequences; maintain source, campaign and UTM attribution; and track leads from source through conversion.
- Reporting — build dashboards and performance reporting.
- Integrations — support integrations with LoanBud systems and third-party platforms via APIs.
- Quality — test and troubleshoot workflows, document system logic, and continuously improve the CRM as new use cases arise.

A typical request: when a lead of this type enters from this source, assign it to the right person, trigger the correct follow-up,



create the tasks, track the campaign, move the record through the right stages, and report on the result. We need a provider who can figure out how that should work and then build it.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with:

- CRM administration and architecture; workflow and marketing automation.
- Lead routing and assignment; lifecycle and pipeline management.
- CRM data structures, segmentation, lists, data cleanup and governance.
- Marketing campaigns, attribution and campaign tracking.
- Reporting and dashboards; integrations and APIs; testing and troubleshooting automations.
- Strong written English and the ability to work independently with a U.S.-based team, owning the build from request through implementation.

Lending, fintech or financial services experience is helpful, but CRM building experience matters much more. Working Arrangement & Terms

This is a fully remote independent contractor engagement, not employment. The contractor sets their own schedule, methods, location and equipment, and should generally be reachable during U.S.

Eastern

Time business hours for requirements discussions, reviews and troubleshooting. The contractor is responsible for their own taxes, social contributions, insurance and any registrations required in their jurisdiction, is not entitled to employee benefits, and is free to provide services to other clients. Fees are based on experience, technical ability and ownership, and are discussed during selection.

Selection Process

Submit a résumé and a short description of CRM systems you've built (platforms, automations, routing and reporting), with examples of what you built from scratch versus inherited. The process includes an initial conversation, a technical discussion of your CRM work, and a short practical exercise (design and explain a routing-and-follow-up flow from a business scenario), followed by a final conversation on scope and terms.
