Bilingual Case Processing Assistant

Location: Remote (Home Office)

Pay: USD $1,200 per month

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Pacific Time

We represent clients nation-wide and focus on issues around asylum, citizenship, family immigration, nonimmigrant visas, deportation defense, temporary protection status, green cards, waivers and consular processing.

About the Role

We are looking for graduates in Law, Political Science, or related fields with relevant legal experience and advanced English (C1 or higher) to support immigration case preparation.

You will draft case documents, review supporting information, communicate with clients, and maintain complete and accurate case files. Through careful review and consistent follow-up, you will help ensure each case is ready for Attorney review and next steps.

Responsibilities





- Draft letters, forms, declarations, briefs, and other case documents for Attorney review, incorporating requested corrections.
- Review client information and supporting documents to identify inconsistencies, errors, and missing materials.
- Assemble and review case packets for completeness, accuracy, and readiness for Attorney review.
- Prepare briefs and documentation for client interviews and signature appointments.
- Identify and escalate complex issues, missing records, and unresolved concerns that may affect case preparation.
- Coordinate document processing and agency inquiries with internal teams.
- Monitor case progress, track deadlines and follow-ups, and maintain accurate information in our case management system.
- Conduct introductory client calls, gather relevant information, and document interactions.
- Provide regular client updates and respond to inquiries through approved communication channels.
- Interpret between English and Spanish during client meetings as needed.
- Follow confidentiality requirements, internal procedures, and quality standards throughout all casework.

Requirements

- Completed university degree in Law, Political Science, International Relations, Government, or a related field.



Applicants must have completed their undergraduate degree.
- English proficiency at C1 or higher in both speaking and writing, including strong grammar, reading comprehension, and the ability to draft clear, well-structured documents.
- Relevant legal experience involving document drafting or review, legal research, case file management, or support for attorneys and legal proceedings. Experience gained through internships or university legal clinics qualifies.
- Fluency in Spanish and professional, respectful communication with clients.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to compare information across sources and identify discrepancies.
- Organization and follow-up skills to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn case management systems, follow procedures, and apply feedback.
- A dedicated home office and availability to work the schedule listed above.
- Recent graduates with relevant practical legal experience are welcome to apply.
