We are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager / Senior Accountant to coordinate and support accounting and financial activities for the country. This role will be responsible for coordinating accounting projects, supporting financial close processes, ensuring compliance with internal controls and tax requirements, and partnering with different areas across the organization to support business initiatives and operational needs.

You will work closely with Accounting, Finance, Tax, IT, Operations, and other key stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and effective financial processes and reporting.

What's unique about this job (What you’ll do)

Accounting & Financial Operations

- Coordinate accounting and financial processes for the country.
- Support the timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Perform and oversee general ledger account reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items.
- Prepare financial reports and monthly variance analyses.
- Provide accounting information, reports, and documentation to Finance, Tax, Financial Reporting, and other teams as required.

Systems & Process Improvements

- Support the implementation of new systems, processes, and business initiatives with accounting implications.
- Serve as a key accounting user for systems such as JDE, TM1, and other financial platforms.
- Identify accounting and reporting requirements and coordinate solutions with IT and other functional areas.
- Promote the development and use of system interfaces and process automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Internal Controls & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with internal controls and support the proper execution of SOX controls.
- Follow up on local tax obligations and support the timely and accurate completion of monthly and annual tax requirements.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen and automate accounting controls and processes.
- Support inventory counts, cash/vault audits,



and other control activities as required.

Business Partnership & Training

- Partner with Operations, IT, Finance, Tax, and other teams to support business initiatives and provide accounting solutions.
- Provide guidance and training to employees and users on accounting processes, systems, financial reporting, and best practices.
- Maintain effective communication with accounting teams, Club management, and other stakeholders across the organization.
- Support the implementation of new initiatives, clubs, procedures, and other business projects from an accounting perspective.

Bring your passion and expertise (Who you are)

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Solid experience in accounting and financial processes, including financial close, reconciliations, reporting, and variance analysis.
- Experience coordinating accounting projects and working cross-functionally with different areas of an organization.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience working with financial or accounting systems.
- Experience with JDE is desirable; knowledge of TM1 or similar financial reporting systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of GAAP, SOX controls, internal controls, and local tax requirements.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Willingness to visit clubs, countries, or other locations when required to support business needs.
