Job Description: Cloud FinOps Specialist
About the Role
As a Cloud FinOps Specialist at Stride, you will play a critical role in managing cloud program operations, governance, cost optimization, and financial reporting related to our cloud environment across major platforms such as AWS and Azure.
Your objective is to enhance financial efficiency and provide insightful analysis that supports decision-making at the executive level.
This position involves collaboration with various cross-functional teams, including Technology, Data, Product, and Finance, as well as external vendors.
You will be tasked with maintaining a comprehensive view of cloud usage data and operational health to drive cost savings and operational efficiencies through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct financial analysis and reporting to monitor cloud-related operational finances.
Manage cloud usage data to implement cost-saving recommendations and best practices.
Identify and document significant cost-saving opportunities with measurable outcomes.
Perform capacity planning and support cloud budget planning.




Assist in the financial aspects of new workload migrations.
Integrate financial systems with cloud billing tools to streamline processes.
Lead the development and implementation of Cloud FinOps best practices across the organization.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of eight (8) years of direct experience in IT Finance and cloud management, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
