This role is based in Colombia , operating under a hybrid working scheme .
Where You’ll Make a Difference
- Coordinate the full OEA maintenance and recertification process.
- Conduct periodic reviews to ensure adherence to OEA standards.
- Identify and correct deviations in customs procedures.
- Maintain up‑to‑date procedures through effective communication with cross‑functional teams.
- Prepare all documentation required by customs authorities together with the involved areas.
- Identify risks in the supply chain and propose mitigation actions based on process knowledge.
- Implement process adjustments to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Perform monthly audits of import declarations in alignment with OEA documentary requirements.
- Serve as the main liaison with customs brokers, carriers, customs agents, and regulatory entities.
What Makes You the Right Fit
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, foreign trade processes, and OEA requirements.
- Experience coordinating compliance programs or certification processes (preferably OEA).
- Analytical skills to review invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, B/Ls, and inspection checklists.
- Ability to prepare and validate reports, declarations, and official documentation in government platforms (e.g., Siglo XXI).
- Experience preparing tax payments through platforms such as PSE or Tidis.
