We are seeking a mid-level Java backend engineer to build and support service logic, data processing, integrations, and platform-reliability capabilities for business-critical workflows. This contract role combines hands-on development with production troubleshooting, monitoring, incident support, and cross-functional collaboration.Enterprise experience strongly preferred.Key Responsibilities- Build, maintain, and improve backend Java services and platform components.- Develop service logic and data-processing capabilities supporting business-critical workflows.- Contribute to integration-layer services and middleware capabilities.- Partner with technical and operational stakeholders to resolve integration issues.- Diagnose and resolve API and integration failures affecting downstream Salesforce Service Cloud processes.- Participate in a developer production-support rotation and operational review process.- Triage critical alerts and monitor health indicators for Java services and platform components.- Handle urgent operational work, track open incidents, and document findings.- Keep sprint data and work status current through tickets, standups,
