We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join the Flood Services team and support the remediation of security vulnerabilities across a group of business-critical applications.The idóneo candidate has solid hands-on experience with Java and the Spring Framework and is comfortable working with existing enterprise applications, analyzing security findings, and implementing secure and maintainable fixes. Experience with Angular is a nice-to-have, as some applications include front-end components that may also require updates.The applications are established enterprise systems with multiple business-critical workflows and integrations. As a Java Developer, you will primarily focus on improving application security and maintaining the existing Flood platform.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and remediate security vulnerabilities identified across Flood applicationsDevelop, modify, and maintain backend functionality using Java and SpringInvestigate existing code and determine appropriate solutions that address vulnerabilities without negatively affecting business functionalityUpgrade or update vulnerable libraries, frameworks, and application dependencies where requiredPerform code-level remediation based on security findings and secure development practicesTroubleshoot application issues resulting from security fixes, dependency upgrades, or existing implementationWrite clean, maintainable, and secure codeParticipate in code reviews, testing, and validation of implemented fixesCollaborate with developers, QA engineers, product stakeholders,
