Job Title: Allocations Transformation Senior AnalystThe Allocations Transformation Senior Analyst will play a crucial role in advancing Alphabet’s corporate strategy by managing a portfolio that integrates core product areas with horizontal corporate functions. This position emphasizes process and system transformation rather than traditional financial planning and analysis (FP&A;) roles. The selected candidate will leverage AI technologies to automate and improve complex allocation processes, providing strategic insights and acting as an advisor to executive leadership. You will collaborate with a dynamic team while managing your transformational projects. This role is designed for finance professionals eager to broaden their expertise across domains and gain visibility into company-wide operations, thus positioning themselves for future leadership opportunities.Key Responsibilities- Lead the integration of AI and machine learning tools to automate driver-based cost allocations, minimizing manual tasks and enhancing accuracy.- Redesign allocation workflows to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and scalability within a SAP and cloud-native environment.- Validate that automated models accurately represent business realities and adhere to accounting governance.- Collaborate with Corporate Accounting, Corporate Engineering, and the FP&A; Hub to address complex financial challenges from a cross-domain perspective.- Share best practices and provide training on AI-assisted analytical workflows to enhance team capabilities.Required Skills- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.- 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A;),
consulting, or a related function.- Demonstrated experience in full-cycle FP&A; functions, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling in a multinational context.- Strong understanding of P&L; mechanics and resource allocation strategies.- Proven ability to interact effectively with executive stakeholders in high-pressure environments.- Proficient in AI/ML application for finance, SQL, and advanced data modeling.Preferred Skills- MBA or relevant Master’s degree, or other professional qualifications.- Experience leading large-scale process transformations in a complex multinational financial environment.- Familiarity with integrating modern SaaS financial tools in a SAP environment.Cloud Platforms & Technologies- Cloud Providers: SAP- Collaboration Tools: AI and machine learning technologies- Data & Analytics: SQL, advanced data modelingFinOps Responsibilities- Automate cost allocation processes to improve financial reporting and resource allocation efficiency.- Ensure that redesigned workflows maintain compliance with accounting and business standards.Benefits- Competitive salary range: $141,000 - $205,000 (USD) plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.- Opportunities for professional growth and leadership development.Useful Links- LinkedIn: Google on LinkedIn- Company Website: Google CareersWhy You Might Be InterestedThis position offers a unique opportunity to influence financial processes and contribute to significant organizational changes within a globally recognized company.
