Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Vendor Management Specialist to support vendor management activities within the supply chain. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate vendor information, supporting data integrity, following established processes, and communicating with vendors and internal teams.

The idóneo candidate has at least 1 year of relevant experience, including hands-on experience using CargoWise, along with strong follow-up, communication, negotiation, and data management skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain accurate vendor information and records in CargoWise.
- Review and validate vendor data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Follow up with vendors to obtain missing or updated information and documentation.
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding vendor requirements and updates.
- Support vendor negotiations and commercial discussions when required.
- Review and understand tariffs and their impact on operations.
- Follow established processes, procedures, and flowcharts.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain data integrity across systems.
- Navigate web-based applications and online resources to research and validate information.




- Identify discrepancies or issues and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
- Support supply chain and vendor-related operational activities.
- Maintain organized documentation and records.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure vendor information supports operational needs.

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience using CargoWise.
- Experience in Vendor Management, Vendor Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with Veroot is a plus.
- Knowledge of different vendor types within the supply chain industry.
- Experience with vendor negotiation.
- Understanding of tariffs and their impact on operations.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent follow-up and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain data integrity and accurate records.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic-thinking skills.
- Ability to follow established processes and procedures.
- Comfortable working with web-based applications and online resources.
- English proficiency: B2–C1.
