Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails)

We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails) to join our team and help drive the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions.

? Important: This position is intended for Senior/Principal-level professionals . We will only consider candidates with 8+ years of backend development experience , advanced expertise in Ruby on Rails , and proven experience in technical design, software architecture, REST APIs, technical leadership, and the development of scalable web applications .

What You'll Do

- Develop and enhance web applications using Ruby on Rails
- Lead technical design and architecture decisions
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams
- Mentor developers and serve as a technical reference across the organization
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, UX, Architecture, and Engineering teams
- Drive end-to-end ownership of solutions from design through deployment and support
- Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices
- Design and build REST APIs and scalable backend services




- Champion quality through testing, TDD, and continuous integration

Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails
- Experience building scalable web applications
- Strong knowledge of:
- JavaScript
- HTML
- CSS
- REST APIs
- Git
- CI/CD
- Testing frameworks
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
