About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Credit Front Office Technology team, supporting loan origination and secondary CLO trading initiatives. This role combines hands-on software development with the effective use of AI-powered development agents. You will be responsible not only for building solutions, but also for defining architecture, reviewing agent-generated code, ensuring data integrity, and applying sound engineering judgment across the stack.

What You'll Do

- Develop and deliver features across the frontend, backend, and data layers.

- Collaborate with AI development agents by creating detailed technical specifications and reviewing generated code.

- Make architectural and framework decisions, including state management, database access patterns, and API design.

- Design and evolve data models, schemas, and warehouse structures that support business requirements.

- Review code for functionality, scalability, maintainability, and performance.

- Apply lending, credit, loan origination, and CLO domain expertise to identify business logic gaps and risks.

- Drive technical decisions across backend services, frontend applications, and data platforms.

- Ensure high standards for software quality, testing, and system design.

Required Qualifications

- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and data modeling, particularly in Data Warehouse environments.

- Professional experience with Python, including FastAPI, Pydantic, and pandas/ETL development.

- Solid experience with React and TypeScript.

- Experience working with Redux and modern frontend component architecture.





- Ability to evaluate when to use specific frameworks, libraries, and design patterns based on business and technical requirements.

- Strong code review and technical leadership skills, including identifying inefficient queries, poor abstractions, and schema design issues.

- Financial services experience, ideally within:

- Credit lending

- Loan origination

- Capital markets

- Structured credit

- CLO trading environments

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Snowflake.

- Experience working in Azure environments.

- Knowledge of Bicep and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Experience with Redis.

- Exposure to Flutter development.

- Experience leveraging AI coding agents within production environments.
