About Yumwoof
At Yumwoof, we are redefining pet wellness with science-backed, anti-inflammatory dog food made from real ingredients. We are scaling paid acquisition toward $600K a month, launching a new product line, and running Black Friday/Cyber Monday in four waves. All of that currently runs through one director plus a bench of agencies and freelancers. This role is the person who keeps the numbers, the plans, and the creative queue straight underneath it.
About the Role
This is a coordination role. Your main responsibility is to make sure that nothing in growth is late, unnamed, or unmeasured, which is currently the thing most likely to cost us a quarter.
Growth here consists of one director, four agencies, and seven production partners. Strategy is not the bottleneck; the connective work is. The Wednesday numbers get pulled at 6 AM by the person who should be thinking about media mix. Launch dates live in four different heads. The creative queue looks fine until you notice it runs thin in three weeks, by which point three weeks is exactly how long it takes to fix.
If you like being the person who notices first, this is a great job. If you want to be the one making the call about what we do next, it honestly is not, and there are better roles out there for you.
What You’ll Own
- Reporting: Pulling DTC revenue, new-customer orders, paid spend against budget, blended new customer acquisition cost, blended return on ad spend, site conversion rate, and new-customer average order value weekly (Monday - Sunday) plus month-to-date.
- Attribution metrics come from Triple Whale, revenue and order counts come from Shopify, and we never mix the two.
- New-customer counts are DTC only; wholesale and recharges come out.
- Done looks like: the report arrives before anyone asks for it, and the number that looks wrong is already circled with a note saying why you think so.
- Project Plans: Managing Black Friday waves, our next product launch, the January promo push, and the promo calendar.
You build the plan backward from the live date, put milestones into ClickUp, and chase handoffs before they become late.
- ClickUp Hygiene: Serving as the single source of truth. If it is not in ClickUp, it did not happen.
- Done looks like: every gate has a named owner and a date, and nobody finds out about a slip in the week it lands.
- Creative Pipeline: Ensuring we maintain three weeks of pipeline depth behind our weekly Monday ad creative batch. You conduct weekly depth audits, chase partners to their ready dates, and flag thin weeks early.
- Done looks like: cover never drops below three weeks without the director hearing it from you first.
- Meta Concepts: Helping keep the concept library stocked and turning approved concepts into actionable briefs for partners, including formats, ratios, hooks, offers, references, and dates.
- Done looks like: every approved concept has its executions written out, named to our standard, assigned and dated.
- Conversion Rate Optimization: Holding the test queue for site tests built by outside partners and development. You track hypotheses, variables, run times, live status, and final results.
- Done looks like: anyone can ask “what did we learn from that test?” and get an answer in under a minute.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years coordinating marketing or growth work , ideally in direct-to-consumer or e-commerce (coordinator, associate, marketing project manager, or agency account executive).
- Numbers you can be trusted with. Confident in spreadsheets, pivot tables, and exports,
with zero tolerance for transposed columns and an eye for anomalous data.
- Chasing, done kindly. Comfortable asking someone for an update multiple times without it becoming awkward.
- Writing that removes questions. Briefs, status notes, and flags that are specific enough to prevent follow-up questions.
- Backwards planning. The ability to look at a live date and work out milestones and potential bottlenecks.
- A project tool you have genuinely lived in , such as ClickUp, Asana, or Monday.
- Meta Ads Manager literacy. The ability to find a spend number and read a creative report.
- Nice-to-haves: Experience with Triple Whale, Shopify admin, Klaviyo, Looker, or Sheets dashboards; background around product launches or Black Friday; experience in pet, wellness, or consumer packaged goods sectors.
Role Logistics
- Hours & Output: 25–30 hours a week on a contract basis.
- Surge Weeks: High-activity periods around Black Friday waves and the January launch will run closer to 32 hours and are always agreed upon in advance.
- Location & Schedule: Fully remote and async-friendly, with a few hours of daily overlap with US Central time on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the reporting cycle.
- Reporting & Collaboration: Reports directly to the Director of Growth Marketing with a short chain of command for same-day answers.
