ROLE SUMMARY The Global Sourcing Team Lead leads the manufacturer sourcing function within Business

Development, overseeing a small team responsible for identifying, qualifying, and engaging manufacturers across global markets.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining team management with international supplier research, quotation review, negotiation, and sourcing problem-solving. The adecuado candidate is resourceful, commercially minded, and experienced in working directly with overseas manufacturers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead and support a small team of Sourcing Specialists across active sourcing projects
- Identify and qualify manufacturers across China, Southeast Asia, the Americas, and other global markets
- Review supplier quotations, pricing, MOQs, lead times, capabilities, and commercial terms
- Communicate and negotiate directly with international manufacturers
- Manage sourcing priorities and ensure projects progress within expected timelines
- Research new product categories and manufacturing markets
- Resolve sourcing challenges, supplier response delays, and manufacturer capability gaps
- Build and maintain a strong network of qualified manufacturers
- Improve supplier research, qualification,



and sourcing processes
- Collaborate closely with Business Development, Pricing, and Product Development teams
- Utilize Alibaba, supplier databases, web research, and AI tools to support manufacturer discovery and sourcing

QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of experience in global sourcing, procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or supplier development
- Hands-on experience working directly with international manufacturers and suppliers
- Strong supplier research, qualification, and negotiation skills
- Experience reviewing RFQs, supplier quotations, pricing, MOQs, and lead times
- Experience leading, supervising, or mentoring team members
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Resourceful and comfortable solving unfamiliar sourcing challenges
- Able to manage multiple active projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Alibaba, international purchasing, imports/exports, or sourcing from Asia is an advantag
