We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate, ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide on-site assistance to end-users within the organisation’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and technically skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support for enterprise clients. This role involves responding to service requests when required and providing hands-on technical assistance for desktop systems, laptops, network connectivity, and peripheral devices at the client location.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops,



and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
- Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
- Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
- Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
- Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing on-site tasks.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop environments
- Experience in hardware troubleshooting and replacement
- Basic understanding of networking (LAN connectivity, switches, routers)
- Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop, printer, and peripheral issues
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently in on-site support environments
