Case Processing AssistantLocation: Remote (Home Office)
Pay: USD $1,200 per month
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Pacific Time

We are a law firm for immigrants by immigrants. We represent clients nation-wide and focus on issues around asylum, citizenship, family immigration, nonimmigrant visas, deportation defense, temporary protection status, green cards, waivers and consular processing.
We provide advice and representation not only to individuals, but also to businesses on all family-based visa scenarios, green cards, and various state and federal filings. Basically put – we’re all about immigration.

About the Role
You will support immigration case preparation by communicating with clients, reviewing information and supporting documentation, drafting case documents, and maintaining accurate and complete case files. You will also monitor case progress, coordinate follow-ups, and help ensure each case is properly prepared for Attorney review and next steps.
Responsibilities
- Conduct introductory client calls and document interactions.
- Review client information, identify inconsistencies, and collect missing documentation.
- Draft letters, forms, declarations, briefs, and other case documents for Attorney review.
- Assemble, review, and maintain complete and accurate case packets.
- Prepare briefs and documentation for interviews and signature appointments.
- Provide regular client updates and respond to inquiries through approved communication channels.
- Maintain accurate case notes, follow-ups, deadlines, and information in our system.
- Coordinate document processing and agency inquiries with internal teams.
- Escalate complex issues, missing records, and unresolved concerns.
- Provide English–Spanish interpretation as needed and follow confidentiality, quality, and firm standards.
Requirements
- A degree or final-semester enrollment in Law, Political Science, International Relations, Government, Business Administration, or another field supported by relevant writing and analytical skills.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher) in both speaking and writing, with strong grammar and reading comprehension.
- Fluency in Spanish and clear, respectful,
professional client communication.
- Ability to draft well-structured documents, compare information across sources, and identify missing or inconsistent details.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn digital systems, follow procedures, and apply feedback.
- A dedicated home office and availability to work the schedule listed above.
Preferred experience: Bilingual customer service, research, administrative support, or document review. Relevant internships and academic projects are also valued.
