Job Title: Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist (NetSuite)

About the Company

Our client is a nine figure national manufacturer in the United States that produces commercial, industrial, and residential products and sells directly to the contractors who install them. Their products are installed on high profile commercial and government projects nationwide. The company operates three related businesses under one leadership team and is currently rebuilding its ERP and finance systems.

This role sits inside that rebuild and owns receivables across a national contractor customer base.

The Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist will own the receivables cycle for a national manufacturer that sells on open terms to commercial contractors. The role combines invoicing and cash application with active outbound collections, so a meaningful part of each day is spent contacting customers about past due balances by phone and email. The position works inside Oracle NetSuite and supports the finance team through an ongoing ERP rebuild.

The role suits a candidate who is organized, comfortable holding a direct conversation about money, and able to work independently on a United States schedule.

Responsibilities of the role

- Generate and distribute customer invoices.
- Apply customer payments and cash receipts accurately.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports.
- Follow up on overdue invoices and past due accounts.
- Conduct outbound collection calls and email follow ups with customers.
- Handle billing inquiries and resolve account discrepancies.
- Process credit memos and account adjustments.




- Maintain customer tax and exemption records.
- Ensure accurate sales tax application on customer invoices.
- Maintain customer account information within Oracle NetSuite.
- Work with the accounting and operations teams to resolve payment issues.

Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum three years of accounts receivable experience.
- Hands on experience with Oracle NetSuite.
- Experience managing collections and customer follow up.
- Comfortable speaking with customers about overdue balances.
- Fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with customers based in the United States.
- Experience with sales tax processes.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, construction, or another B2B environment.
- Experience with Paycom or a similar system.

Personality:
- Persistent without being abrasive.
- Direct and comfortable discussing money.
- Highly organized and detail driven.
- Independent and self managing.

Software & Tools:
- Oracle NetSuite
- Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Paycom

Training will be provided on the company's specific systems and software.

English Level

- C1 to C2

Schedule: Monday through Friday, full time, aligned with United States business hours on Eastern time.
