? We're hiring: Application Support Engineer (On-Premise)

? Medellín, Colombia | Full-time | English C1

Our client, a U.S.-based retail technology software company, is looking for a hands-on support engineer. You'll install their application on customer servers and dig into logs, databases, and code to find out why something isn't working.

What you'll do

?️ Install and deploy the application in on-premise customer environments

? Troubleshoot incidents by analyzing application and system logs

?️ Install Microsoft SQL Server and write SQL queries to investigate and resolve issues

⚙️ Create batch scripts and set up scheduled tasks (Windows Task Scheduler)

? Read PHP and JavaScript code to trace the root cause of issues and escalate to development when needed

What you bring

✅ [X+] years in application support, technical support (L2/L3), or software deployment





✅ Solid understanding of three-tier architecture (web, application, and database layers)

✅ Hands-on experience with SQL Server: installation and SQL scripting for troubleshooting

✅ Experience with batch scripting and task scheduling in Windows environments

✅ Ability to read and follow PHP and JavaScript code (no development required)

✅ C1 English, spoken and written

Nice to have

➕ Experience supporting on-premise enterprise software (ERP, POS, retail, or logistics systems)

➕ Familiarity with integrations (APIs, flat files, JSON/CSV)
