Operations (Engineers, Geoscience, Specialists, Operators)The Aftermarket Valves Field Service Technician is responsible for delivering field and workshop service activities related to installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial valves and associated systems. The role ensures equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and compliance with SLB quality and safety standards while supporting customer operations.Roles and ResponsibilitiesPerform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of industrial valvesExecute preventive and corrective maintenance programs in both field and workshop environmentsDiagnose equipment failures and perform root cause analysisDisassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble valves and actuators (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electric)Conduct pressure testing, function testing, and calibration of valve systemsInterpret technical drawings, P&IDs;, and engineering documentationPrepare detailed service reports and maintenance recordsSupport shutdowns, turnaround activities, and emergency field interventionsInterface with customers to ensure high-quality service delivery and satisfactionEnsure full compliance with SLB HSE policies and local regulationsPerform Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and maintain safe working practicesTechnical diploma or degree in Maintenance, Industrial Maintenance, or related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in valves, field service, or oil and gas equipment maintenanceHands‑on experience with industrial valves and actuatorsOpen to travel more than > 50% of the timeSLB offers equal employment opportunity.
