ABOUT THE ROLE
You'd be joining Cloud Accountant Staffing (CAS), a firm that places accountants into U.S. CPA firms. We're at roughly $12.5M in annual revenue, doubled in the last year, and on a plan to reach $100M by 2031. Our co-owners include one of the most-followed voices in the U.S. accounting profession, and our clients range from 5-person firms to some of the largest accounting firms in the world.
At the center of how we work is our portal, a marketplace-style platform built on Next.js and React where accounting firms find,
review, and hire vetted talent. It's our biggest competitive advantage. It was built with our long-time development partner, who stays involved. Now we want one person in-house to own it and make it better every single day.
As our AI-Native Full-Stack Engineer, you inherit a working production codebase with real users and a long backlog of improvements the CEO has been collecting. You'll work through it, then keep going, shipping small iterations constantly with a direct line to the person who sets the priorities.
This is a product-ownership role. It is not a ticket queue, and it is not a short-term project. We are hiring for years.
