Role Description This full-time remote Spanish Medical Interpreter role focuses on facilitating clear, accurate, and confidential communication between Spanish-speaking patients and English-speaking healthcare professionals. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing real-time medical interpretation via phone or video, accurately conveying medical information, instructions, and patient concerns without adding, omitting, or altering meaning. The interpreter will ensure proper use of medical terminology, clarify ambiguities,



and maintain professional boundaries while following industry standards and HIPAA-compliant practices. The role also involves occasional translation of medical documents, participating in quality assurance activities, and collaborating with coordinators or supervisors to support consistent, high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Medical Interpretation and Interpreting skills, with fluency in Spanish and English.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology and experience in healthcare or clinical settings.
• Candidates should possess abilities in Translation and written Spanish–English language work when needed.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Simultaneous Interpretation and consecutive interpreting techniques.
