Financial Accountant
The Financial Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the companys financial records in accordance with IFRS and or US GAAP. This role plays a key part in monthend closing, financial reporting, and operational accounting processes. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting skills with analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across integral teams.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review financial statements and reports in adherence to IFRS and or US GAAP.
Perform monthend, quarterend, and yearend closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely results.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Support internal and external audit processes by providing documentation and explanations as required.
Perform financial analysis, variance analysis, and data validation to support reporting and forecasting activities.
Work with large data sets to extract insights, validate balances, and resolve discrepancies.
Collaborate with crossfunctional and regional teams to ensure compliance, consistency, and data accuracy.
Support process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives within the finance function.




Technical Skills
Knowledge of IFRS and or US GAAP.
Knowledge of ERP systems SAP, Oracle, or similar is desirable.
High proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and comfort with large, complex datasets.
Knowledge and Skills
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Business English proficiency written and spoken is mandatory.
Intent to start or progressing toward an internationally recognized qualification ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA.
AAT qualification is acceptable when combined with relevant years of experience.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across teams and regions.
Highly organized, detailoriented, and able to meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
Proactive mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement and professional development.
