About Manukora
Manukora® is a general wellness brand, leading the fast-growing US Mānuka honey category. We're on a mission to preserve the power of Mānuka and deliver it to the world in pure, functional formats at uncompromising quality, purity and potency.
Born in the wilds of New Zealand, we harvest one of the planet's rarest natural resources: raw Mānuka honey. This creamy caramel super honey contains unique antioxidants, prebiotics, and a special antibacterial compound called "MGO."
Established in 2015, we are a founder-led, family-owned business headquartered in New Zealand with operations in the United States and globally. Manukora is a certified B Corporation, working with locally-based master beekeeping partners to produce the highest quality Mānuka, leading through ethical beekeeping practices and investing in our bees, their environment and the communities that surround them.
We are a team of beekeepers, herbalists, food scientists, and wellness professionals working to deliver this one-of-a-kind honey and reimagine the immune and digestive wellness categories.
The Role
We're looking for a Marketing Assistant to help run consumer and product research at Manukora. That means our IHUTs (in-home usage tests), surveys, quant and qual studies, and research into new categories and competitors. Working closely with the marketing team.
You’ll be deeply involved in the innovation side of the brand, and it's a really fun space to be in. You see products before anyone else does, hear straight from the people using them, and help decide what they become.
No two days look the same. One day you'll be prepping product for a study, the next you'll be emailing participants, and the day after you'll be deep in survey results working out what they mean and what we should do based on data.
You'll work closely with our operations, retention/CX, marketing and design teams on many projects.
Presenting insights and suggestions is the exciting part, but it only works if the base is solid. A big part of this job is organizing, coordinating and checking details across teams. So two things need to be true of you:
You're analytical. You can take messy data (survey results, customer reviews, retail data) and tell us what it means and what we should do about it.
You're hands-on. You're happy building product kits, communicating with consumers, and designing marketing studies.
What the Job Involves
- Running the logistics of our research: building product research kits, coordinating samples and shipping with our ops team, sending participant incentives, and checking every detail before anything goes out
- Designing studies and writing surveys
- Pulling together survey results, customer reviews, Amazon data, retail data and building dashboards
- Looking after the research inbox and other consumer-facing platforms
- Digging into new categories, from competitors' packaging to how consumers think and behave
- Turning what you find into a clear recommendation: what the data is telling us and what we should do about it
- Sharing reports with the wider team in a clear and concise format
- Helping improve our research systems and playbooks as we grow
- Helping out with a variety of marketing tasks across the marketing team
Who You Are
- You're around 1–3 years into your career and already working in a professional environment.
- You want to build a career in marketing or consumer and product research
- You're analytical, you can piece the details together and go beyond the numbers
- You're proactive and heads on to new challenges
- You're creative and detail-oriented, you notice the small things and pay attention to what's happening in the market around you
- You're comfortable with data tools, you've used at least one BI tool (Power BI, Looker or similar), or you're very strong in Excel/Sheets, pivot tables included
- You communicate well across teams
- You're fluent in English, written and spoken.
You don't need a background in marketing but are interested and looking for the next opportunity to learn and thrive in the space.
Nice to have: any exposure to surveys, market research, e-commerce or CPG. Experience with Notion, Figma, Claude, Typeform.
