Our client is a technology company focused on developing innovative solutions for the media and video industry, leveraging artificial intelligence and generative AI to analyze real-time video content and identify meaningful contextual moments.

The team is building next-generation multimodal AI pipelines that combine video, audio, transcripts, and text to generate structured insights that can be integrated into downstream systems.

About the Role

We are looking for Applied Scientists to design, build, and optimize GenAI-driven multimodal pipelines for detecting contextual moments and events in live video streams.

This role will focus heavily on prompt engineering, multimodal inference, foundation models, structured outputs, and AI optimization. You will work closely with engineering and QA teams to improve model accuracy, precision, and reliability in production environments.

We are considering both Junior and Senior-level professionals, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and optimize prompt engineering strategies for foundation models and LLMs.
- Build and optimize multimodal AI pipelines involving video, audio, transcripts, and text.
- Develop solutions for detecting and classifying contextual moments and custom events.
- Create reusable frameworks for:
- Moment detection
- Structured metadata generation
- Prompt optimization
- Model output evaluation
- Fine-tune prompts and model configurations to improve accuracy and precision across different use cases.
- Integrate GenAI outputs into structured JSON metadata and downstream data processing systems.
- Develop Python-based AI and data processing workflows.
- Work with AWS services such as Amazon Bedrock, Lambda, S3, and Kinesis.
- Collaborate with QA and engineering teams to validate AI outputs and continuously improve model performance.
- Support production deployment, monitoring,



and continuous optimization of AI solutions.
- Analyze and troubleshoot AI outputs to identify opportunities for improved performance.

Required Qualifications

- Strong experience with Python and AI/ML development.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience with prompt engineering and optimizing prompts for foundation models.
- Experience working with multimodal AI, particularly combinations of vision, text, audio, or video.
- Experience generating and working with structured outputs such as JSON.
- Experience developing AI or data processing pipelines.
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience with Amazon Bedrock is highly preferred.
- Understanding of LLM inference, evaluation, and optimization techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Claude, Amazon Nova, or other foundation models.
- Experience with video analytics, media AI, streaming, or content analysis.
- Experience with real-time or near-real-time AI systems.
- Experience with AWS Lambda, S3, Kinesis, or related data pipeline services.
- Experience optimizing AI systems for accuracy, precision, latency, or cost.
- Experience working with structured metadata and downstream integrations.
- 6+ years of relevant professional experience in AI/ML, Data Science, Applied Science, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience designing and optimizing AI/ML or GenAI solutions.
- Demonstrated experience with multimodal AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and cloud-based AI pipelines.
