Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Data Modeler / Data Architect to design, develop, and govern enterprise-scale data models that support analytical, operational, and business intelligence use cases. The idóneo candidate has strong expertise in data modeling methodologies, hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt, solid cloud exposure, and the ability to work directly with clients in a consultative environment. This role requires advanced English proficiency and more than 10 years of experience in data-related roles.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and execute the end-to-end data modeling process, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Design scalable and performant data models optimized for Snowflake and modern cloud data platforms.
- Implement and maintain analytical data models using dbt, following best practices for transformations, testing, and documentation.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and clients to gather requirements and translate them into robust data models.
- Ensure data models support analytics, reporting, and downstream consumption while maintaining data quality and consistency.
- Define and enforce data modeling standards, naming conventions, and best practices.
- Work closely with Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, and BI teams to ensure proper model implementation.
- Participate in architectural discussions related to cloud-based data platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Support data governance, lineage,



and documentation initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members when required (leadership is a plus, not mandatory).

Required Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or related data roles.
- Strong expertise in data modeling concepts and methodologies (dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, normalized models).
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake as a data warehouse.
- Strong practical experience using dbt for data transformations and analytical modeling.
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure).
- Proven experience interacting directly with clients and business stakeholders.
- Advanced English level (B2+ or higher) with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

- Experience in consulting or client-facing delivery models.
- Leadership or technical lead experience.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, or metadata management frameworks.
