We’re Hiring: Freight Dispatch Specialist — ML NORTH TRUCKING
Full-Time | Fully Remote

ML NORTH TRUCKING specializes in refrigerated freight transportation along the East Coast of the United States. We are seeking a Freight Dispatch Specialist to help maintain efficient, organized operations and reliable service for our customers.

Responsibilities
• Find, evaluate, and book loads through load boards, freight booking platforms, and broker relationships, negotiating rates while accounting for routes and equipment availability.
• Confirm service terms and coordinate driver assignments, pickup and delivery appointments, and load instructions.
• Monitor shipments in real time, provide updates to brokers, and address delays, scheduling changes, and operational issues.
• Verify temperature and handling instructions for refrigerated freight.
• Follow each shipment through completion, coordinating with drivers and internal operational leadership.

Requirements
• More than one year of freight dispatch experience in the U.S. trucking industry.




• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with B2 proficiency or higher.
• Strong broker communication and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with load boards, freight booking platforms, and shipment tracking.
• Knowledge of handling rate confirmations and Bills of Lading (BOLs).
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and solve problems.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, initiative, and adaptability to changing operational procedures.
• Full-time availability during Eastern Time business hours, reliable internet access, and a suitable remote workspace.
• Experience with refrigerated freight, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and Excel is preferred.
