Our Institute is seeking a dedicated and experienced Online Computer & Software Instructor- English Speaker to provide high-quality instruction to adult learners in an online learning environment.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS

Fluent English is REQUIRED!. Candidates who do not demonstrate strong English proficiency will NOT BE CONSIDERED for this position.

Previous online teaching experience is REQUIRED!. Candidates must have experience delivering instruction in an online/virtual classroom environment. Experience teaching adults and students with varying levels of computer literacy is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office/365 and Google Workspace applications, as well as experience with computer applications used in business and office environments. QuickBooks/bookkeeping experience is highly preferred.

Our instructors play an important role in helping adult learners develop practical computer and software skills that prepare them for success in today’s workplace. The ideal instructor is patient, professional, organized, and comfortable providing one-on-one and group support in an online environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Online Instruction: Deliver engaging, effective, and professional instruction through the school's online learning platform and virtual classroom environment.
- Teaching Excellence: Teach computer and software applications in a clear and practical manner, adapting instruction to students with different levels of computer knowledge and experience.
- Lesson Preparation: Prepare lessons, demonstrations, exercises, and instructional materials in accordance with the school's syllabus and curriculum.
- Student Support: Provide patient and respectful guidance to adult learners, particularly students with limited computer experience, and assist them in developing confidence and independence.
- Software Instruction:



Provide instruction in Microsoft Office/365 and Google Workspace applications. Experience with QuickBooks and bookkeeping is highly preferred.
- Technology Skills: Stay current with software applications, online teaching technologies, and relevant workplace tools, and be willing to learn new software when required.
- Student Progress: Monitor student participation, assignments, lab activities, and overall progress through the school's learning management system and student portal.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely records of attendance, student performance, assignments, and other required instructional activities.
- Communication: Communicate clearly and professionally with students, instructors, and administrative staff.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other instructors and school staff to maintain consistency in instruction, curriculum delivery, and student support.
- Compliance: Follow the school's schedule, policies, procedures, curriculum, and instructional guidelines consistently and reliably.

Required Qualifications

- English Fluency – REQUIRED: Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Candidates who do not meet this requirement will not be considered.
- Online Teaching Experience – REQUIRED: Previous experience teaching or training students in an online or virtual learning environment.
- Computer Skills: Strong knowledge of computers and common business software applications.
- Microsoft Office/365: Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.




- Google Workspace: Familiarity with Google Drive and Google Workspace applications.
- Communication Skills: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and patiently to adult learners with varying levels of computer literacy.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in lesson preparation, student records, and progress tracking.
- Adaptability: Ability and willingness to learn new software, technologies, and instructional tools as needed.
- Professionalism: Reliable, responsible, respectful, and professional approach to teaching and communication.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with instructors and administrative staff.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience teaching adult learners.
- Experience with QuickBooks and bookkeeping.
- Experience teaching Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using Google Workspace.
- Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS) or student portal.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
