We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our growing team. This is a remote, full-time position for an engineer with a strong background in building structural analysis and design. The idóneo candidate is capable of solving engineering problems, performing structural calculations, and designing safe and efficient structural systems.
Please note: This is not a drafting or BIM modeling role. Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to Revit or AutoCAD drafting without structural engineering and design experience will not be considered.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for building projects.
- Develop structural solutions for steel, concrete, and wood-framed structures.
- Perform engineering calculations and hand calculations to validate designs.
- Prepare and review structural models using industry-standard engineering software.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure designs meet applicable codes and project requirements.
- Review and resolve engineering challenges throughout the design process.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.
- Experience: Proven experience in building structural analysis and design.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and building codes.
- Design Background: Demonstrated experience designing one or more of the following:
- Steel structures
- Reinforced concrete structures
- Wood structures
- Software Proficiency: Hands-on proficiency in one or more of the following structural engineering tools:
- STAAD.Pro
- ETABS
- RAM Structural System
- RISA
- Technical Skills: Ability to perform engineering hand calculations.
- Communication: Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Revit.
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with additional structural engineering software.
