RVStaffing is partnering with a growing U.S.-based healthcare organization focused on specialty care and patient-centered services. We are seeking a Medical Scribe with strong clinical knowledge and experience supporting healthcare providers through accurate and timely medical documentation.

The idóneo candidate will have C1-level English proficiency, excellent listening and written communication skills, and the ability to accurately capture clinical information in a fast-paced environment. Experience in pain management, orthopedics, spine care, podiatry, or other specialty medical practices is highly preferred.

Position Summary

The Medical Scribe will work closely with U.S.-based physicians and clinical teams to support patient care through accurate, timely, and comprehensive clinical documentation. This role is responsible for documenting patient encounters, updating medical records, preparing clinical information, and ensuring providers have accurate documentation to support their clinical decision-making.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, clinical workflows, and electronic medical records. They must be able to listen carefully to physician-patient conversations, understand complex medical information, and translate that information into clear and accurate documentation while maintaining strict patient confidentiality.

What You'll Do

1. Clinical Documentation & Medical Scribing

- Accurately document patient encounters, physician assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions in real time or immediately following consultations.
- Capture relevant information from physician-patient interactions while maintaining accuracy and clinical context.
- Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, allergies, physical examination findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Prepare and update progress notes, consultation notes, procedure notes, and other clinical documentation as required.
- Ensure medical records are complete, organized, and consistent with established documentation standards.
- Accurately document physician findings without altering, interpreting, or independently making clinical decisions.
- Review completed documentation for accuracy, completeness, grammar, and appropriate medical terminology.
- Identify missing or unclear information and appropriately communicate documentation needs to the provider or clinical team.

2. EMR/EHR & Patient Records Management

- Enter and maintain accurate patient information within the organization's EMR/EHR system.
- Review patient charts before appointments to ensure relevant medical history, medications, diagnostic results, and previous documentation are available to the provider.
- Update patient records based on information provided during clinical encounters.
- Navigate multiple areas of the EMR efficiently while documenting patient visits.
- Maintain accurate records of diagnoses, procedures, medications, referrals, and follow-up requirements.
- Support providers in maintaining timely and complete clinical documentation.
- Follow established EMR workflows, documentation standards, and quality requirements.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when accessing, documenting, and handling protected health information.

3. Provider Support & Clinical Coordination





- Work directly with physicians and other clinical team members to support efficient patient encounters.
- Anticipate documentation needs and prepare relevant patient information before consultations.
- Assist providers by ensuring required clinical information is available and properly documented.
- Communicate professionally with physicians regarding documentation questions, missing information, or clarification needs.
- Support clinical teams with preparation of referral documentation, consultation notes, and other records as requested.
- Coordinate with administrative and clinical staff when documentation impacts scheduling, referrals, procedures, or follow-up care.
- Maintain professional communication with U.S.-based healthcare providers and team members.
- Adapt quickly to different provider preferences, documentation styles, and clinical workflows.

4. Medical Terminology, Coding & Clinical Information

- Apply strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and common clinical conditions when documenting patient encounters.
- Accurately recognize and document medical diagnoses, symptoms, procedures, medications, and treatment terminology.
- Develop familiarity with specialty-specific terminology related to pain management, orthopedics, spine care, podiatry, and other relevant areas.
- Recognize commonly used CPT and ICD-10 codes and accurately document diagnosis and procedure information when provided by the provider.
- Ensure clinical documentation accurately reflects the information communicated by the physician.
- Review medical records for consistency and identify potential documentation gaps for provider review.
- Stay current with relevant medical terminology, documentation practices, and healthcare workflows.

5. Quality, Compliance & Administrative Support

- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across all patient documentation.
- Complete documentation within established turnaround times to support efficient clinical operations.
- Follow HIPAA, patient privacy, confidentiality, and internal compliance requirements.
- Protect sensitive patient information across all communication and documentation channels.
- Follow established clinical documentation protocols and quality standards.
- Support process improvements that increase documentation accuracy, provider efficiency, and overall patient care workflows.
- Maintain productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring to the Team

Required Qualifications

- C1 or higher English proficiency — required.
- At least 1–2 years of experience as a Medical Scribe, Clinical Documentation Specialist, Medical Assistant, Nurse, or in a closely related healthcare role.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical documentation.
- Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to understand complex medical conversations and communicate professionally with U.S.-based healthcare providers.




- Strong listening comprehension and the ability to accurately document information while actively following a clinical conversation.
- Experience working with EMR/EHR systems and electronic patient records.
- Strong understanding of clinical documentation, including patient histories, physical examinations, assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions.
- Exceptional attention to detail, spelling, grammar, and written communication.
- Ability to manage multiple patient encounters and documentation requirements while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and clinical teams.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and professional handling of protected health information.

Preferred Qualifications

- Direct experience in pain management, interventional pain procedures, spine care, orthopedics, podiatry, sports medicine, or other specialty medical practices.
- Experience working with U.S.-based healthcare organizations, physicians, or medical practices.
- Previous experience documenting physician-patient encounters in real time.
- Familiarity with U.S. healthcare terminology, clinical workflows, and documentation standards.
- Familiarity with medical procedures, injections, diagnostic testing, and specialty treatment plans.
- Experience with multiple EMR/EHR platforms.
- Previous experience supporting physicians remotely or in a virtual healthcare environment.
- Strong typing speed and accuracy.
- Experience working with U.S.-based providers across different time zones.
- Familiarity with HIPAA and U.S. healthcare privacy requirements.
