Your responsibilities as a Cyber Security Specialist will be:
• Monitor security events, alerts, and reports through SIEM platforms to detect malicious activity and indicators of compromise
• Assess, investigate, and analyze cybersecurity events, alerts, and reports
• Escalate security incidents to the incident management team when necessary
• Prepare technical and non-technical reports based on security investigations and findings
• Present cybersecurity findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate in security incident investigations and root cause analysis activities
• Evaluate unauthorized applications and security risks across enterprise systems
• Interpret security events across technologies including Windows, Unix/Linux, IBM z/OS, databases, firewalls, DLP, NAC, IPS, and other security platforms
• Coordinate with teams across Evertec regions to ensure timely response and documentation of security events
• Support compliance initiatives and execution of key internal controls, including SOX-related controls
