Key Responsibilities: Lead payroll operations across payroll inputs, time records, earning and deduction updates, payroll reconciliations, funding files, tax interfaces, and error correction activities. Establish workflows, service levels, and controls for employee pay inquiries, off-cycle payments, and issue resolution processes. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support payroll reporting, year-end activities, audits, escalations, and compliance requirements.

Drive operational decisions and continuous improvement initiatives using payroll controls, process calendars, and vendor/system performance metrics. Develop and coach payroll team members while building leadership capability, accountability, and succession plans.

Key Accountabilities Payroll Operations Leadership Lead end-to-end payroll operations across the Andean &

- Caribbean Market Unit, ensuring timely and accurate employee payments. Oversee payroll inputs, time and attendance records, earnings and deductions updates, payroll reconciliations, funding files, tax interfaces, and payroll error corrections. Ensure payroll activities are executed in accordance with established service levels, policies, controls, and regulatory requirements. Governance, Controls &
- Compliance Establish and maintain robust payroll controls and reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation. Drive adherence to local statutory and tax requirements across all supported countries. Support internal and external audits and coordinate resolution of audit findings and compliance issues. Stakeholder &
- Vendor Management Serve as the primary payroll leader for the Market Unit, partnering with HR, Finance, Tax, Legal, external payroll vendors, and regional/general payroll teams. Manage escalations and complex payroll issues while ensuring effective and timely resolution.



Support year-end payroll activities, regulatory reporting, and payroll-related governance requirements.

- Continuous Improvement Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the analysis of payroll metrics, system performance, vendor effectiveness, and process controls. Lead implementation and enhancement of payroll processes, systems, and operating models. Utilize payroll calendars, operational dashboards, and performance measures to improve efficiency and service quality.

Leadership &
- Talent Development Lead, develop, and coach a team of payroll managers, specialists, and analysts. Build organizational capability through performance management, succession planning, workforce planning, and talent development initiatives. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous learning.

- Impact Accountable for payroll operational performance, employee payment accuracy, regulatory compliance, and service delivery outcomes across the Market Unit. Makes decisions regarding payroll processes, issue resolution, resource allocation, operational priorities, and risk mitigation strategies. Influences senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders on payroll-related initiatives, investments, and process improvements. Drives strategic and operational initiatives that improve payroll effectiveness, employee experience, compliance, and cost efficiency.



Ensures appropriate governance and controls are in place to minimize payroll risk and maintain regulatory compliance.

Qualifications &

Experience Education Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field required. Advanced degree (MBA, Master's degree, or equivalent) preferred.

Professional Payroll

Certification preferred.

Experience Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in payroll operations, payroll controls, employee payment accuracy, payroll systems implementation, or related disciplines. Demonstrated experience leading payroll teams within complex, multinational, and matrixed organizations. Proven track record of driving operational improvements and leading organizational change initiatives.

Experience managing relationships with payroll vendors and cross-functional stakeholders. Strong experience supporting audits, compliance activities, and payroll governance processes.

Language Requirements

Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
