Strategy &
- Governance (Aligned to Global CoE)
- Contribute to the development of the global labor and employee relations strategy, policies, frameworks and playbooks.
- Translate global labor relations strategy into a clear and consistent LATAM operating framework that supports business objectives while addressing local requirement
- Define LATAM standards, governance and principles for employee representation and consultation, allowing for country-level adaptation.
- Establish regional governance and strategic oversight for collective bargaining agreement (CBA) negotiations and labor organization engagement.
- Support local labor teams in defining negotiation strategies, escalation protocols, and contingency planning for critical labor events
- Maintain an up-to-date overview of the regional labor relations structures, agreements and representation models across all countries.
- Monitor emerging labor trends and legislative changes and provide proactive recommendations to business and HR leaders. Advisory, Enablement &
- Capability Building
- Act as a senior advisor to LATAM HR leadership, HRBPs and business leaders on labor relations risks, sensitivities and strategies.
- Provide frameworks, guidance and coaching to local HR and labor relations teams on engagement strategies with unions, works councils, labor delegates, and employee representative bodies across LATAM.
- Support high-risk labor relations situations, including labor disputes, industrial action scenarios, and business continuity planning.
- Build labor and employee relations capability through training, toolkits and playbooks aligned to the global CoE model.
- Support major transformation projects by developing labor relations strategies, consultation approaches, stakeholder engagement plans, and change sequencing.
- Partner closely with Legal on regulatory interpretation, escalation and compliance-sensitive matters.

- Embed labor considerations early into regional strategic and transformation planning.
- Advise senior leaders on how to achieve business outcomes in LATAM while remaining compliant with local labor laws.
- Support cross-border initiatives by coordinating employee relations strategy, messaging, capability building and best practice sharing among local Labor teams. Metrics, Reporting &
- Continuous Improvement
- Define and monitor labor and employee relations metrics for LATAM aligned with global KPIs and CoE priorities.
- Analyze trends, risks, negotiation activity, and CBA renewal timelines to identify opportunities for proactive intervention.
- Provide regular insights and recommendations to senior leaders on labor relations trends, risks, and capabilities.

- Experience
- Extensive experience in labor and employee relations within a LATAM and multinational context.
- Strong understanding of Labor frameworks in main LATAM countries.
- Proven experience supporting restructuring, transformation, acquisition, integration, and organizational change initiatives.
- Proven ability to operate as a strategic advisor rather than an operational case owner.
- Experience working within a general HR CoE or governance-based operating model.
- Fluency in English, and Spanish required. Portuguese is a strong plus. Core Competencies
