As a IT/OT Professional, your day in the factory in Siemens Energy Transformers is focused on ensuring that technology solutions across office and manufacturing environments are reliable, secure, and aligned with business needs. You will collaborate with local and global IT, Operation Technology, production, engineering, and cybersecurity teams to review system performance, support infrastructure and automation initiative, troubleshoot technical issues, document architecture designs, and contribute to continuous improvements that strengthen operational stability and digital transformation at the site.

How You’ll Make an Impact

- Strengthen the reliability, security, and performance of local IT and OT environments that support business and production operations.
- Enable digital transformation by designing and supporting integrated technology solutions aligned with local needs anbal standards.
- Improve operational continuity by identifying risks, supporting troubleshooting activities, and contributing to preventive and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and manufacturing requirements into scalable, secure, and sustainable architecture solutions.
- Promote standardization and compliance through clear documentation, architecture governance, and alignment with cybersecurity and regulatory requirements.
- Lead or support technology upgrades and migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business and production operations.

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- More than 3 years of experience in IT/OT, networking, and infrastructure integration, preferably in manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (OPC, Modbus, Profibus).




- Experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and IT/OT environments.
- Preferable knowledge of ISO 27001 and industrial process environments.
- Advanced English skills for communication, documentation, and collaboration with general teams.
- Competences: Teamwork, assertive communication, collaboration.

About The Team You will join the infrastructure team within Distribution Transformer Digital Solutions / Network Architecture, a highly technical group responsible for delivering reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure solutions that support both business and manufacturing operations across the Distribution Transformers cluster. The team focuses on enabling stable connectivity, resilient networks, secure platforms, server environments, industrial infrastructure, and technology integration aligned with local operational needs and global IT/OT standards. Based in Tenjo, Colombia, you will work in a globally distributed environment, collaborating with local leaders, global architecture teams, cybersecurity specialists, production, engineering, vendors, and business stakeholders to support infrastructure projects, technology upgrades, operational continuity, and digital transformation initiatives. Success in this role is measured by the reliability and availability of infrastructure services, timely delivery of high-quality technical solutions, effective issue resolution,



compliance with architecture and cybersecurity standards, and your contribution to continuous improvement across IT and OT environments.
