Cross-Cultural Communications (CCC) is the leading international training agency for community interpreting, educational interpreting, healthcare interpreting, cultural competence and language access. Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented eLearning & Communications Specialist to provide support to our training and content initiatives within the interpreting and language services field. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is interested in language access, interpreter training, and digital learning development. - Assist in the development of eLearning courses for interpreter training and language services programs
- Support audio and video editing for bilingual/multilingual training content
- Ensure materials meet accessibility standards (captions, transcripts, alt text, etc.)
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (e.g., interpreters, trainers) to organize and present content clearly
- Help manage and update course content within learning management systems (LMS)

Communications & Media Responsibilities

- Support the creation, scheduling, and distribution of email marketing campaigns using MailChimp (newsletters, announcements, promotional campaigns).
- Assist in developing digital content, including social media posts, short videos, graphics, and promotional materials.





Minimum Qualifications:

- Post secondary education or training (BA preferred but not required).
- 2–3 years of administrative or operations support experience (Internships or equivalent welcome)
- 1–2 years of experience in communications or 1–2 years of experience in online learning management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and remote workflows for document creation and collaboration.
- Ability to learn new software platforms quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bilingual in English and another language (Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin a plus).
- Experience with eLearning and media tools:

Video/Audio Editing (such as Final Cut Pro)

Adobe Creative Suite

Mailchimp eLearning Authoring tools (such as Articulate or captivate)

Moodle or other LMS platforms

Canva or other design software

- Experience developing accessible learning content (captions, transcripts, alt text, screen reader compatibility)
- Familiarity with interpreter training, language services, or healthcare/legal interpreting environments
- Basic coding or automation skills, such as with HTML, JavaScript, Zapier
- Experience with support or ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk)
