? About the Opportunity

We are hiring a Director of Supply Chain & Procurement to lead our buying strategy and supply chain team across our Amazon operations. You will own the key decisions on cash, inventory, and suppliers, report to company leadership, and manage two team members.

You bring 5+ years in supply chain or procurement, including 3+ years leading a team.

? Salary

Monthly Rate: $2,300–$3,000 USD/month (based on experience and qualifications)

Paid Time Off: 10 days per year

Please note: The monthly rate does not include statutory benefits. As an independent contractor, you'll be responsible for your own statutory contributions (e.g., health, pension, severance) in accordance with your local regulations.

? What You’ll Do

- Own the supply chain and procurement strategy across Amazon FBA from annual forecast to sell-through.
- Lead the supply chain team (Inventory & Procurement Coordinator and Junior Inventory & Purchasing Analyst) and help each person grow.
- Own the purchasing budget and the cash tied up in inventory. Decide what gets funded and what waits.
- Set the negotiation strategy for the full vendor base and personally close the top tier supplier deals.
- Build the supplier scorecard and decide who we grow with, who we cut and who we replace.
- Define the KPI framework for the function: sell-through, restock rate, days of cover, excess inventory, IPI and forecast accuracy.
- Report to company leadership on a fixed cadence with risks flagged early and solutions attached.
- Own 3PL and freight forwarder relationships at the contract and rate level.
- Lead end to end fixes where the process leaks money.

? What We’re Looking For

What You Need

- 5+ years in purchasing, inventory planning, demand planning or supply chain, ideally in e-commerce, distribution or retail.
- Proven ownership of a purchasing budget or a cash flow constraint, with real numbers on what you saved.
- Proven ownership of supplier negotiations,



including deals you personally closed.
- 3+ years leading a team with direct reports.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong inventory math: reorder points, safety stock, days of cover and forecast accuracy.
- Demonstrated experience writing SOPs that a team actually used.
- Excellent written and verbal English.

Bonus Points
- 3+ years managing an Amazon FBA catalog, including restock limits, IPI, capacity and FBA fees.
- SQL, Power BI, Looker Studio or Python for inventory reporting and dashboards.
- Experience with an inventory or ERP system beyond Seller Central.
- Contract level experience with 3PLs and freight forwarders.
- Experience building or scaling a small supply chain team.
- Background in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Logistics or Economics.
