Are you the kind of lawyer who reads a contract once and already knows which clause will matter in six months — and who keeps a compliance calendar so nothing slips through?

At Identidad Tech, we've spent 25 years building telecommunications solutions for carriers and enterprises worldwide: Wholesale Voice, SMS, Cloud Numbering, and Managed Services. Today we are creating our first Legal & Regulatory function, and you would be its first dedicated owner, working directly with our CEO.

? 100% on-site at our Bogotá office for the first 6 months; a remote day per week may be available afterward.

?️ English C1 or higher — our contracts and regulatory documents arrive in English, and part of the interview is in English.

⚖️ Law degree and [3+ years] of hands-on experience with commercial contracts.

What you'll do

- Review, redline, and manage commercial contracts with clients and vendors across the U.S., the U.K., and other jurisdictions where we operate: new agreements, amendments, and addenda.
- Own the day-to-day contract flow: novation letters, credit and address changes, operational addenda (such as a trunk changing currency), and NDAs.
- Draft and review agreements for our globally distributed independent contractors.
- Track telecom regulatory compliance (FCC, Ofcom, data protection and more): annual calendar, filings, and audit-ready documentation.
- Support contracts and compliance matters in the U.K. and the Balkans (Serbia), together with local external counsel.
- Know when to escalate: commercial topics to our VP of Commercial, legal topics to our CFO, and specialized matters to external counsel.





You don't need to be a Colombian labor-law specialist — this role focuses on international commercial and regulatory work.

Your team

You'll work side by side with our CEO and with our commercial and finance colleagues. We like working together: celebrating wins, and solving problems as a team. We also use AI tools (including Cowork) in our daily workflow, and you'll be encouraged to do the same.

Requirements

- Law degree (Abogado, Paralegal, LLB or equivalent) with knowledge applicable to U.S. and international commercial contracts.
- 3+ years reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Working understanding of regulatory compliance: you can read a regulation, build a checklist, and run it.
- Advanced English (C1+), written and spoken.
- Autonomy, clear writing, and organized document management.
- Comfort using AI tools in your daily work.
- Lives in Bogotá.
