Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Trucking Dispatcher based in Colombia to support our U.S. trucking clients remotely. The successful candidate will coordinate daily dispatch operations, manage driver schedules and load assignments, monitor shipments, and communicate effectively in English and Spanish.

This position requires a minimum of five years of relevant U.S. trucking dispatch experience and availability to work California hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Schedule and dispatch drivers based on load requirements, equipment availability, pickup and delivery appointments, and available driving hours.
- Coordinate with drivers, brokers, shippers, receivers, and customers to keep shipments moving efficiently.
- Monitor shipment progress and provide accurate status updates and arrival estimates.
- Plan practical routes and schedules while considering driver availability, loading and unloading times, and operational constraints.
- Address delays,



missed appointments, breakdowns, and other service issues promptly.
- Support dispatch planning that follows applicable DOT/FMCSA requirements and Hours of Service rules.
- Maintain accurate shipment records, rate confirmations, bills of lading, and proof of delivery.
- Document detention, layover, and other additional charges and coordinate with accounting for billing.
- Communicate clearly with internal teams and provide complete handovers for outstanding issues.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum five years of relevant dispatch experience supporting U.S. trucking companies .
- Fluent spoken and written English and Spanish .
- Strong knowledge of U.S. trucking operations, routes, time zones, equipment types, and freight terminology.
- Working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA requirements, driver Hours of Service, and their impact on dispatch planning.
- Proficiency with dispatch or transportation management systems, spreadsheets, and shipment tracking tools.
- Strong communication, organization, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple drivers, loads, and competing priorities.
- Currently based in Colombia and available to work California hours .
- Reliable internet connection, a computer, headset, and a quiet workspace.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience using DAT, Truckstop, or similar load boards.
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices and reviewing driver availability.
- Further education in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or business.
