Summary & Purpose:
We are seeking a Benefits Administrator to support our clients with the administration of their employee benefits programs. This role is client-facing and requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional service while ensuring compliance with benefits regulations. You’ll serve as a trusted resource for clients and their employees, helping them navigate benefit options, processes, and problem resolution.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Administer client benefit programs including health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and wellness plans.
- Process enrollments, changes, and terminations in HR and vendor systems accurately and on time.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client benefit inquiries, escalations, and issue resolution.
- Partner with payroll and vendors to ensure accurate deductions, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Support client open enrollment activities, including setup, employee communications, and vendor coordination.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, etc.).
- Prepare benefits reports and assist clients with audits and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for enhancing client service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their unique HR needs and challenges.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 6 months of benefits administration or HR experience, preferably in a client-service capacity.
- B2-C1 English level proficiency.
- Strong knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with HRIS and benefits systems; payroll interface knowledge a plus
- General knowledge of compliance and employment laws and practices.
