Job Summary

We are looking for an

Air Import Operations Coordinator with 1–3 years of experience in international freight forwarding or 3PL operations. This role manages air import files from pre-alert acceptance through broker hand-off, shipment coordination, billing, and file closure.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and accept confirmed air import pre-alerts in

TMF

, ensuring shipments belong to the assigned station.

- Register accepted files in the shared

Active Air Import Files tracker

, including MAWB, HAWB, ETA, pieces, weight, Incoterm, and arrival information.

- Validate and update ETAs using airline Track & Trace and cargo tracking portals.

- Identify airlines using MAWB prefixes and coordinate shipment information with the appropriate contacts.

- Process airline import service charges through

SprintPay (CargoSprint)

and record billing information in TMF.

- Coordinate warehouse transfers with nominated truckers.

- Prepare airline release letters and send pre-alerts to customs brokers with the required documentation.

- Coordinate document turnover with brokers and maintain accurate shipment records.

- Keep

TMF milestones updated throughout the shipment lifecycle.





- Update the shared tracker and follow each file through billing and final closure.

Requirements

- 1–3 years of experience in international freight forwarding, 3PL, or air import operations.

- Hands-on experience with air import documentation

, including MAWB, HAWB, arrival notices, commercial invoices, packing lists, manifests, and airline release letters.

- Experience with

Track & Trace and airline cargo tracking portals.

- Working knowledge of

TMF

, including pre-alerts, eDocuments, billing, and milestones.

- Experience coordinating with customs brokers, airlines, carriers, and ground transportation providers

.

- Familiarity with airline import service charges and

SprintPay (CargoSprint)

is preferred.

- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.

- Ability to manage multiple files and maintain accurate operational records.

- Professional or technical degree in

International Business, Foreign Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.

- Proficiency in

Excel, Outlook, and Teams

.

- B2–C1 English proficiency.
