Micron's Customer Systems Engineering (CSE) team serves as a critical bridge between our customers and engineering organizations, helping ensure successful deployment of Micron's SSD and storage solutions. The team works closely with customers, product engineering, firmware development, and quality teams to solve complex technical challenges, improve product quality, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

As a Customer Systems Engineering Intern, you will gain hands‑on experience supporting enterprise storage products throughout their lifecycle. You will work with cross‑functional teams to investigate technical issues, assist with customer qualifications, analyze product failures, and develop innovative AI‑enabled solutions that improve engineering workflows.

What You Will Do
- Develop AI-enhanced tools and solutions that improve engineering efficiency and streamline Customer Systems Engineering workflows.
- Partner with customers, customer‑facing teams, and internal engineering organizations to support product qualification and deployment activities.
- Assist with firmware release processes, firmware management, and customer qualification efforts.
- Support failure analysis activities for returned products during high‑volume manufacturing and customer deployments.
- Investigate customer‑reported issues and collaborate with engineering teams to drive technical problems to resolution.
- Analyze system‑level behavior and identify opportunities for process improvements.
