This role is a key technical leadership position responsible for defining the architecture and long-term strategy for Common Services firmware across multiple SSD product generations. You will guide critical architectural decisions, collaborate with experts across subject areas, mentor engineers,



and help drive the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-assisted engineering practices. Your work will directly influence product quality, development efficiency, and future platform capabilities.

Responsibilities
- Define and evolve Common Services firmware architecture and technical strategy across SSD products and storage platforms
- Lead the design of embedded firmware solutions, establish engineering standards, and drive architectural decisions that improve performance, scalability, and reliability
- Partner with hardware, silicon, software, and product teams to solve system-level challenges and optimize the storage stack
- Communicate architecture plans, technical risks, and technology recommendations to engineering and business partners
- Mentor senior engineers, promote engineering excellence, and lead adoption of AI-assisted development practices
