Join Our Team as an Independent Site Engineer
NV5 is seeking an Independent Site Engineer to support major heavy civil transportation projects in the Fresno, California area.

In this role, you’ll serve as the on-site client representative for the California High-Speed Rail System.



You’ll provide technical leadership, construction oversight, coordination, and administration while helping guide the project from conceptual development through final construction.

Responsibilities

• Independently review and evaluate technical submittals, including construction documents, as-builts, change requests, and design variances.
• Anticipate project requirements and identify issues early enough to prevent delays.
• Coordinate with project staff to establish work plans, delegate responsibilities, and define each team member’s scope of authority.
