About The Position
We are looking for an e-commerce accountant with CPA to join our team and take ownership of managing monthly financial closings and providing US GAAP-compliant bookkeeping. The idóneo candidate is experienced in QuickBooks Online (QBO), e-commerce financial operations with Shopify/A2X, and financial reconciliation and reporting.

Responsibilities
• Perform bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting tasks
• Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Reconcile bank accounts, payment gateway transactions (such as PayPal), and inventory.
• Coordinate with the international accounting team on inventory management, consolidation, and transfer pricing.
• Prepare, review, and deliver US GAAP-compliant financial statements on time.
• Conduct monthly and year-end closings, ensuring accurate reporting of financial data.
• Perform self-reviews for accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
• Review company books for tax planning opportunities.
• Clean up existing bookkeeping problems
• Automate the invoicing process
• Perform monthly financial analysis on variances
• Manage and report sales tax
Requirements
• Bachelor degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of experience in ecommerce financial operation with Shopify.
