Role Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Shopify Developer to take ownership of the technical performance and growth of multiple e-commerce properties. You will work across Shopify development, conversion optimization, technical SEO, integrations, payments, analytics, and B2B e-commerce, while also helping establish technical standards and guide other developers. This is a hands‑on senior role for someone who can work independently,
solve complex technical challenges, and connect technical decisions with measurable business results.
Responsibilities:
- Conversion and Revenue Performance
- Own the cart and checkout experience and improve checkout completion from the current 16.5 percent baseline.
- Optimize the mobile purchase path and remove friction across collection and product pages using funnel data, session replay, and heatmaps.
- Run structured A/B tests and report measured lift honestly, including neutral or negative results.
- Maintain reliable funnel instrumentation across GA4, PostHog, and Shopify analytics.
- Technical SEO
- Own titles, meta descriptions, structured data, canonicals, robots directives, sitemaps, pagination, parameter handling, host and locale consolidation, and Core Web Vitals.
- Maintain multilingual and multicurrency storefronts with correct hreflang and translation rules that never machine-translate bran
