Role Overview
We are seeking a senior-level Technical Accountant with hands-on US GAAP experience to join a growing finance team. This is not a general accounting role — we need someone who has directly prepared or reviewed lease accounting under ASC 842 and supported 409A valuations and stock-based compensation. The idóneo candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong, and comfortable serving as a primary point of contact for external auditors on complex accounting areas. Reports into US-based finance leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Own lease accounting under ASC 842 - classification, ROU asset and liability schedules, modifications, remeasurements, and related disclosures
- Support 409A valuation processes - coordinate with valuation providers, prepare supporting data (cap table, financials, comparable inputs), and review draft reports




- Prepare and record stock-based compensation entries under ASC 718, and maintain equity-related schedules
- Manage month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and close checklists
- Prepare technical accounting memos and audit-ready documentation for complex transactions
- Serve as primary contact for external auditors on lease and equity accounting areas
- Assist with US GAAP financial statement preparation and disclosures

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in US GAAP environments
- Direct, demonstrable ASC 842 experience (implementation or ongoing compliance, not theoretical) (non-negotiable)
- Exposure to 409A valuations and/or ASC 718 stock-based compensation accounting
- Public accounting background (Big Four or large regional firm) or experience at a US company or startup
- Advanced English (C1+), comfortable in daily communication with US stakehol
