Sales Assistant — Vendor Relations & Negotiation

We're hiring: Sales Assistant — Vendor Relations & Negotiation | Hybrid

Arvenda is a staffing company connecting top LATAM talent with U.S.-based clients. We are recruiting a driven, assertive Sales Assistant to support a Sales Manager in a fast-paced commercial environment.

This is not a passive administrative role. We need someone with an aggressive, results-oriented mindset who is comfortable picking up the phone, negotiating hard, and getting things done without being asked twice. Your primary focus: vendor outreach and price negotiation on behalf of the Sales Manager.

Schedule: Full-time · Hybrid- Medellín, Colombia.

What you'll do

- Make high-volume outbound calls to vendors and suppliers on behalf of the Sales Manager
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with vendors confidently and assertively
- Follow up consistently on outstanding negotiations until a resolution is reached
- Research and identify new vendors or pricing opportunities as directed
- Prepare summaries and reports on vendor conversations, pricing obtained, and negotiation outcomes
- Maintain accurate records of all vendor communications and follow-ups in the CRM




- Coordinate directly with the Sales Manager to align priorities and relay vendor feedback in real time
- Handle ad hoc tasks and administrative support as needed

What we're looking for

- Fully bilingual — English and Spanish, written and spoken — required
- Assertive, confident, and comfortable negotiating by phone — this is the core of the role
- Strong verbal communication skills — persuasive, professional, and not easily deterred
- Prior experience in sales support, vendor relations, procurement, or a similar commercial support role
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through on every commitment
- Self-motivated and proactive — identifies what needs to be done without waiting to be told
- Available for a hybrid work schedule
