- Accurately translate medical records, documentation, and patient information while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist healthcare professionals and social workers in understanding patient needs by interpreting complex medical terminology clearly and precisely
- Support communication during hospital admissions, discharge planning, and social services assessments involving children or vulnerable populations




- Review medical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and consistency to ensure proper understanding across all parties

Skills

- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology across various specialties including pediatrics, emergency care, mental health, and social services
- Ability to interpret accurately in high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism and neutrality
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security at all times
