The Junior Talent Acquisition Volunteer role is an opportunity to gain certified professional volunteering experience in an operational and management role, focused on supporting the Senior Talent Acquisition of the International Volunteers Organization (OIV) in the recruitment of volunteers, with special emphasis on interviews and communication with candidates in English . This participation is civil and voluntary in nature, in accordance with Colombian Law 720 of 2001 and Decree 4290 of 2005, and therefore does not create an employment relationship or any financial remuneration.

At the end of the participation, a certificate of the activities carried out will be issued, useful to strengthen the professional profile and to apply for job opportunities, scholarships or academic programmes.

Objective of the volunteer role

This role develops skills in candidate sourcing, screening and interviewing in an international, multilingual environment. Working closely with OIV's Senior Talent Acquisition as direct support, the volunteer will take part in the whole selection process and will be in charge of interviews and communication with candidates in English, helping to build a fair, organised and welcoming process.

Activities

- Support the sourcing of volunteer candidates through LinkedIn and other channels.
- Screen applications: review profiles, level of English and alignment with each role and with OIV's values.
- Conduct interviews with candidates in English, following the interview guide, and write a short summary of each interview.
- Handle written communication with candidates in English (invitations, follow-ups and replies),



using the message templates.
- Coordinate the interview process: scheduling and follow-up.
- Keep the candidate database and tracking sheets up to date in Google Sheets, with status, next steps and dates.
- Prepare shortlists and share them with the Senior Talent Acquisition.
- Support the onboarding of selected candidates (volunteer agreements and documentation) and the records needed for their certificates.
- Suggest improvements to interview guides, message templates and the selection process.

Desired profile

- Fluent spoken and written English (C1 level or equivalent) is essential, as interviews and communication with candidates are conducted in English.
- Advanced student or recent graduate in Psychology, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
- Clear and assertive communication (written and verbal).
- Organisation, attention to detail and efficient time management.
- Discretion with candidates' information and reliability with deadlines.
- Empathy and the ability to build relationships with candidates.
- Use of Google Sheets or Excel and familiarity with LinkedIn and Google Workspace (Calendar, Meet).
- Experience in recruitment or people management is an asset.
- Proactivity, a service attitude and willingness to learn.
- Alignment with the mission and values of OIV.
