MarketU is hiring a Short-Form Video Editor in Colombia to edit fast-paced, trend-driven content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook. You'll work with general brands to create viral-worthy videos that hook audiences in the first 3 seconds. If you're obsessed with social media trends and understand what makes content shareable, this role is for you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Produce short-form videos optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook that stop the scroll immediately
- Craft viral hooks and attention-grabbing intros that maximize viewer retention
- Apply trending sounds, effects, and transitions to amplify engagement and reach
- Add captions, text overlays, and sound design that elevate storytelling
- Match each brand's unique voice and visual identity across all edits
- Manage file organization and deliver polished exports on schedule
- Collaborate with clients and team to refine creative direction
- Stay ahead of platform trends and algorithm changes

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Demonstrated portfolio of short-form social media edits




- Proficiency with DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar professional software
- Knowledge of hook strategies, pacing, and viewer retention techniques
- Eye for detail and instinct for compelling storytelling in short format
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and tight turnarounds
- Fluent English communication
- Flexibility to work across different brand styles and tones
- Passion for staying current with what's trending
