Ruby on Rails Developer (VM) (Remote - Latam)As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level software applications that optimize mobile device services and reduce cellular costs for global clients.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, contribute to both front-end and back-end development, and ensure the software is scalable, reliable, and maintainable.

Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails and related technologies- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code- Develop front-end features using CSS3, HTML5, and Bootstrap while integrating content from MSSQL databases- Test software through unit tests, integration tests, and debugging tools- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to solve complex software problems- Contribute to project plans, technical specifications,



and Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in software development

Requirements- Bachelor/'s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience- 4+ years of professional experience in software development- Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and web application architecture- Proficient in front-end technologies: CSS3, HTML5, Bootstrap- Experience with Cold Fusion is a plus- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases- Proficient with version control systems, preferably Git- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
