We’re looking for a Senior SQL Server DBA with strong hands‑on experience in SQL Server administration, performance tuning, disaster recovery, backup/recovery, and production support .
This is a senior individual contributor role supporting a customer’s SQL environment and partnering closely with the DBA Lead. We need someone who can work independently, proactively identify issues, and take ownership from problem identification through resolution.
- Administer and support SQL Server production environments
- Perform performance tuning & query optimization
- SQL Server upgrades, patching, monitoring & alerting
- Production troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Support migrations, enhancements, and application projects
- Identify performance, security,



and operational risks
- Work with developers, infrastructure teams, vendors, and business stakeholders
- Automate DBA tasks using PowerShell
- Act as backup to the DBA Lead when needed

Must‑Have Skills
- 7+ years of SQL Server DBA experience
- SQL Upgrades & Patching
- Strong communication and customer-facing experience
- Ability to work independently and proactively

Nice to Have
- Insurance / regulated industry experience

Flexibility required for planned maintenance, upgrades, and production support.
